DOG VS MAN
Although a dog is unschooled in human dignity, if properly trained , he will remain a gentleman all his life. He does not look with scorn upon another. Nor does he judge by creed or color. He will give his life for friend or stranger alike. If called upon to fight momentous odds, he will hang on with a tenacity not often found in the superior being. He gives of himself as long as his stout heart beats. He is protector of life and property. Guardian of the big and the small . The great and the humble. He draws no line. He is target for transient moods. Herald of danger. Comforter. Pal. Understanding , beyond all understanding. Forgiving , beyond human forgiveness. Tolerant beyond belief. Love is his only status symbol. For that alone, he will accept whatever comes his way. In return, he will give without stint. Look deep into the eyes of a dog. Know that within the brown depths there is an innate knowledge of the Golden Rule that has become foreign to man in these modern times.
